//RIDER PROFILE: Kasper

1// Why do you like riding?
I like riding because it’s fun and a good way to test your energy and it’s a very good sport to learn.

2// When did you join Limited Edition Cycling and how long have you been riding?
I joined the club last September and I’ve been riding since I was 4. My first ever bike with pedals was a cupcake bike. It had no gears and had stabilisers.

3// What type of racing have you done for LEC?
I have done cyclo-cross, Spring in the Park and the Go-League. I hope to do more when I’m older.

4// Which type of racing do you like the best and why?
I’ve liked most the Go-League races because they sometimes get quite bumpy and they’re good for beginners and I’ve had my best results in them.

5// Which race has been your favourite and why?
My favourite was a Go-League race at Elmstead Wood primary school, where I came second in the race and third in the time trial. It was my first ever podium.

6// What is the best skill you’ve learned riding with LEC?
The best skill is how to scoot and how to use clips.

7// Can you describe what you like about the club training session?
What I like about it is how everybody is friendly and the coaches are never strict and are really kind, and it makes me a better rider. I also like the activity when someone blows a whistle and you have to time your stops just right.

8// In three words, how would you describe your clubmates?
Fun, adventurous and fast.

9// In three words, how would you describe the club?
Brilliant, wonderful and kind.

10// When you’re not cycling what else do you like to do?
I like playing with my sister, Enyo, playing football, playing with Lego and reading.
