UNDER 6s

Tina Cavers from 4T took the win for the Girls but all to play for in Round Three with Elin Howell-Brook holding on to the series lead in second, and Alys Howell-Brook in hot pursuit rounding out the podium.

In the Boys race, the home crowd delighted in new signing Woody Shearwood’s celebration across the line. Meanwhile, Louis Lochee-Bayne’s second place keeps Brixton BMX in the series lead. Lee Valley were represented by Harry Griffiths who took third on the day, bagging the points to keep him second overall. A ten-strong field will be preparing for the final race at Herne Hill.

UNDER 8s

More packed races in the Under Eights where the duel between LEC team-mates and series leaders Kasper Rackley and Lola Stewart continues to delight the fans.

On the day it was Caue Bruzzone in Lee Valley colours who scored maximum points in the Boys race, closely followed by Southborough’s Sebastian Thevenot - setting up a tasty looking showdown in the final against Kasper.

Lola made it two from two in the Girls, with Enyo Rackley and Olive Connor giving the podium and series a green shade for LEC.

Another highlight in the Under 8s was Aash Selimin, our first para rider in the series, representing LEC. This was his first race after learning to ride a two-wheeler in the autumn.

UNDER 10s

After her win put her into joint second place in the series, Sophia Matthews from VCL will be looking for home advantage at Herne Hill next time out. Emily Roast made the trip from Colchester to secure second place whilst Horsham’s Jessica Evans took third in the girls to maintain her series lead. Six riders could all make it to the series podium in Round 3.

Daniel Furlong from LEC shot off the line and held onto his lead in the Boys race, in doing so just edging his teammate Kien Chu in the series who finished third. Second place went to Charlie Lerner from Herne Hill Youth on the day but Ellison Green from Barking and Dagenham maintained his third place in the series.

UNDER 12s

No Girls in this age group so far, which means it’s all to play for in the final.

A dozen riders in the Boys series however. Taylor Green from Barking & Dagenham picking up his second win from VCLs Jacob Matthews in second place. Ben Tremayne from Woolwich rode well to secure third on the day. Taylor’s consistency puts him top of the leaderboard but only a few points separate Floyd Connor from LEC in second and Ben’s teammate, Jake Kalogiannopoulos in third.

UNDER 14s

It’s a two-horse race in the Girls, Ana Mason from VCL taking the win from LEC’s series leader, Edie Wright in second.

4T’s winner Riley Mahoney used his knowledge of the circuit to make a mid-race jump on his Southborough opponents. Henry Tutt following in second with Leo Hughes in third. Overall it’s Riley in the series lead but Leo and Oscar O’Rawe in third hoping to make it red, black and yellow on the top step next time.

A family affair for the Mahoneys as Rianna took the win and series lead in the Girls, high fiving the crowd through the finish to cap a great day.

In the Boys race, Barney Howard from Herne Hill Youth took first place and joint top spot in the series. Elliot Howard finished in second place which puts him into third in the Series behind Rytis Petruskevicius from LEC - any one of this trio could take the overall win in the final round.
